NHS Rainbow Badge Scheme
Practitioner Health is part of the NHS Rainbow badge initiative, signifying its inclusive and non-judgemental nature. This initiative was started within the NHS to promote the message of respect and equality for all patients and staff within the healthcare environment.
Many of the staff within the service can be seen wearing the rainbow badges to show their support of the LGBT+ community and by wearing the badge, display their awareness of potential issues faced by people with regards to gender and sexuality.
