Available to medical & dental trainees in Scotland. At the moment if trainees are in difficulty they contact a regional advisor (on the site). Their PSU should be offering the below:

• Case Management
• Careers Advice
• Language and Communication Skills
• Examination Support
• Occupational Health Assessment
• Advice re specific training to meet identified educational needs
• Assessments
• Mentoring Support
• Management of GMC referrals in relation to key areas of performance (competence), health or conduct (personal/professional)

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is an education and training body and a national health board within NHS Scotland. They are responsible for developing and delivering healthcare education and training for the NHS, health and social care sector and other public bodies. They have a Scotland-wide role in undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing professional development.
