Dr Alastair Watt

Professor Alastair Watt
Consultant Physician in Diabetes and Endocrinology, Husband, Father
- Passed away: 13th December 2017
Dearest Alastair it is almost 9 years since we lost you and we still love and miss you so much and hold you close in our hearts. Our twinkle-twins have grown into wonderful young adults who are forging forwards with their lives. You would be so proud of them and it breaks my heart that you have missed this special time with them. Our boy is cycling your treasured pinarello and rode it with pride up the Col du Tourmalet recently. Our girl also has a love of the outdoors enjoying hiking, rock climbing and snowboarding. We so wish you hadn't had to leave us. North Devon District Hospital settled out of court rather than admitting in public how terribly they treated you. Sadly the NHS has not learnt its lessons. I will always love you, your wife, Ruth
