About
NHS Practitioner Health is a free mental health and addiction service for health and care professionals who are unable to receive confidential treatment through their GP or local services. Now in its 16th year of service, Practitioner Health is the largest publicly funded service of its kind, having treated over 30,000 health and care workers across England and Scotland.
NHS Practitioner Health is dedicated to providing the very best care for its patients. One-one therapy, group therapy, and addiction treatment are provided by expert therapists and clinicians, all of whom specialise in treating health and care professionals. This has ensured that patient recovery rates from anxiety and depression are upwards of 90%, and 70% of addiction patients maintaining long-term abstinence.
