The Hardest Step: Reaching Out and Sharing the Weight
Reaching out is often one of the hardest things to do.
But it is the most important thing. Please hear me say you don’t have to carry this alone and that many of us have felt hopeless, felt fear and pain too. You can share how you feel and be heard without judgement, and have relief at being understood and connected. Take the brave step to ask for help.
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming. You might feel stuck, exhausted or unsure how things could possibly get better. But you don’t have to figure everything out on your own.
Talking to someone and asking for help can be difficult, especially when you’re used to looking after everyone else. But taking that first step can make a difference. Whatever you’re facing right now, things can change. There are people who care and there is hope.
You don’t have to go through it alone. Take that first step and talk to someone.
