You Don’t Have to Face it Alone: Share the Burden
If you are struggling, you do not need to have everything worked out, and you do not need to feel hopeful before asking for help.
Sometimes the most important thing is simply to get through the next hour, the next conversation, or just the day. Tell someone how things really are for you and share the burden. This could be a friend, colleague, relative or professional.
Let them help, and let them stay alongside you while things are difficult. Circumstances can change, even when it feels impossible to imagine that they will. With time and support, things can look different.
Hope does not mean you have to feel optimistic. Sometimes it is simply deciding not to face the next step on your own.
